Meaning of KalpaVriksha

Kalpavriksha means coconut, which symbolises the Indian tradition. Indian marriages give bigger prominence to coconut and coconut trees. It is used throughout the process of marriage.

Going beyond its stipulated definition, the Kalpavriksha also stands for ‘Kalpana’ or imagination, where, through a strong mental imagination and desire, one can awaken the power that bestows boons. Also, Kalpa, which is a unit of time, transforms into an all-encompassing unit of time through the metaphor of the Kalpavriksha. India is filled with traditions wherein trees possess deep spiritual intent, emblematic content, and mythical powers and thus we named our heritage venue “KALPAVRIKSHA WEDDING VENUE”. Let every event at this place sustain and develop like Kalpavriksha.

The metaphor of the Kalpavriksha is derived from the natural lived environs of the indigenous community. The tree, which in many ways becomes the key element of nature, ecology, and sustainable development, is a personification of every possible nourishment from food to medicine.
